If you're currently a student in the Visual Literacy program, you already have a sense of its structure, its demands and its rewards. Organizing and managing your time well is critical to keeping up with the work and succeeding in each of the units.  Be sure to seek help from both your peers and the faculty at the first sign that a problem might be developing.  They can help you adjust to the demands and stay on track.  The university offers many social and cultural opportunities that can enhance and amplify the Vis Lit experience, so be sure to take advantage of gallery nights, guest artist lectures, exhibitions, concerts and other experiences that can complement the work you're doing in the program.
