"The Visual Literacy program at Nebraska is actually a big reason why I chose to attend the university. Visual Literacy gives you an introduction to numerous different art and design styles and forms. Through its system of four mini-units, Visual Literacy gives you the opportunity to develop not only your physical artistic abilities, like drawing and painting, but also your mental abilities, such as how and why you create and design, and challenges you to form and define your artistic perspectives."

"Visual Literacy is also great because it's required by a number of different majors in different colleges. I like this feature because when I entered the University I wasn't 100% sure about my major. Because Vis Lit is not limited to one major, it offered me a chance to field test several options. All the majors I was considering either required or highly recommended Visual Literacy, so I know these credits will be useful." MORE....
