"I definitely feel that my Vis Lit classes encouraged and pushed me to become a better artist and designer. No question, it's a lot of hard work. You'll spend hours working on projects and trying to solve problems both logically and artistically. It can get very stressful and sometimes tiring, but when you complete your projects it fills you with such a great sense of accomplishment. Despite the intensity of the courses, I often find myself looking forward to the blocks of time I spend on my Vis Lit projects, developing and creating them."
"The best advice I have for a prospective Visual Literacy student is to dive into it and see where it takes you. Don't be afraid now and then to admit you feel lost or confused or just out of ideas. The Vis Lit faculty is really helpful. They want you to understand the projects and they'll do their best to push you along. Talk to your peers and get to know the other students in the studios. Having people to talk, laugh, stress, and complain with makes Vis Lit ten times more fun!"
